Sushan River overflows banks, leaves commuters stranded

Hundreds of inhabitants of Akanteng, a mining community in the Eastern Region got stranded this morning as a down pour rendered the Sushan River to overflow its banks.
 
Vehicles plying the route across the river were unable to cross and this is affecting economic and academic activities of the community.
 
Several school children and commuters are also stranded from Akanteng to Kobreso and vice visa.
