A taxi driver, Kwasi Ackon, who has gained overnight popularity after returning an amount of GHC8,400 left in his car by one of his passengers, has stated that he returned the money to the woman because of the fear of God.

The taxi driver who happens to be a member of the Church of Pentecost said Christians are to live an exemplary life for others to follow and that is what motivated him to return the money.

“What encouraged me to send the money is, as a Christian, you have to apply righteousness to everything you do. You have to know that Christians are not supposed to do what the worldly do. Christians have to live Godly lives for worldly people to know that you are a Christian,” he added.

He stated that he was overwhelmed when he received a call from Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
