The Upper East Regional Hospital is without a dialysis centre for the treatment of kidney cases. This became a public concern in the region after a physician specialist, Dr. Emmanuel Akatibo, raised the alarm about the establishment of the facility.

At a fundraising ceremony held in Bolgatanga, the Upper East Regional Minister, Mr. Stephen Yakubu, said his office and the 15 MMDCEs in the region are donating GHc80,000.00 to support the procurement of dialysis equipment and its accessories for the region.

“On behalf of myself and the MMDCEs in the region, I want to announce that we are so much concerned about this facility and we are donating GHc80,000.00 into the fund.”

The Upper East Regional Hospital currently needs GHc813,900.00 as seed money for the project. All donations can be made to the details below.
