The Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has cut sod for the commencement of the construction of the 42 million dollar Western corridor fibre optic project, in Takoradi in the Western region.
The project which is a private led initiative will be completed within 18 months.
It will enhance service provision, education and other e- services required under the national ICT for accelerated development policy.
