On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day May 3, 2022, GJA President Roland Affail Monney acknowledged the contribution of Ghana’s media in strengthening the democratic credentials of the country. He said the media have been at the forefront of promoting participatory democracy by providing citizens a platform to demand accountability from duty bearers.
Speaking to GBC News in Accra, Mr. Monney said the media deserve commendation in this direction.
”World Press Freedom Day is an opportunity for rededication to duty.”
