7 Petroleum Companies sanctioned for illicit trading

The National Petroleum Authority, NPA has fined seven Petroleum Service Providers, PSPs for engaging in illicit Third-Party trading of petroleum products, and unlawful lifting of petroleum products. The companies are Moari Oil, Rodo Oil, MBA Global, Cigo Energy and Torrid Global. The rest are Naddif Oil, and GAT Oil.

A release issued by the NPA directed that “Moari Oil pays a fine of GHC50,000 for engaging in Third-Party Supplies unlawful lifting of petroleum products.

7 Petroleum Companies sanctioned for illicit trading

Rodo Oil was slapped with a GHC350,000 for engaging in Third-Party Supplies and unlawful lifting of petroleum products, as well as a one month suspension of operations.

MBA Global was also fined GHC85,000 for Third Party Supplies and unlawful lifting. It is also to serve one month suspension of operations, while Cigo Energy will pay GHC 245,000 for the same offence.

Torrid Global was fined GHC550,000 while Naddif Oil is expected to pay GHC150,000 and suspend operations for one month.

GAT Oil was slapped with a GHC120,000 and one month suspension of operations for engaging in Third Party Supplies and unlawful lifting of petroleum products.
