The Sekondi Takoradi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, STCCI, has launched a digital platform known as the Chambers Market to support the growth of businesses in the region.
This digital platform will project small and medium scale businesses locally and internationally. The initiative is designed for businesses in the region to leverage online trading.
The Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, said the platform has come at the right time.
‘’It should help to reduce unemployment among the youth. The Western Region is the first to get onto the platform, with the hope of making it a business hub to attract traders across borders.”
Mr. Darko-Mensah commended the Sekondi Takoradi Chamber of Commerce and Industry for using technology to grow businesses.
“The Chamber’s vision to promote trade is in line with the regions’ vision to become a financial center,” he stated.
