The Member of Parliament for the Salaga-South Constituency, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has reaffirmed her commitment to education and youth empowerment by donating essential examination materials to candidates preparing for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the East Gonja Municipality.

The donation, made on her behalf by the Salaga-South NDC Constituency Chairman, Haruna Abdul Aziz, included 1,200 mathematical sets and 24 boxes of pens to support all 1,155 candidates expected to sit for the examinations beginning Monday, May 4, 2026.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Chairman Abdul Aziz stated that education continues to remain a key priority for the MP. According to him, for the past six years, the MP has consistently supported BECE candidates through the sponsorship of mock examinations, provision of examination materials, and assistance with transportation and meals.

He further revealed that plans have been put in place to provide daily lunch for candidates, invigilators, and security personnel throughout the examination period. Candidates from the Konkomba, Kafaba, Makango, and Abromase Circuits who will be housed at Salaga Senior High School and T.I.
