Sissala West MP goes to rescue of embattled KNUST students from his Constituency

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sissala West in the Upper West Region, Mr. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, has stated his readiness to support embattled students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) from his Constituency who have been deferred by the school over non-payment of fees.

Six thousand students from KNUST have had to defer their courses as they are unable to pay their fees.

Per the school’s administration, the students are to pay at least 70% of their fees. Those who are unable to pay, have been deferred.

The MP has asked that all KNUST affected students from his Constituency should contact the following persons for assistance;

Mohammed Ali-, Ali Guguo- Bakpa and Abdul-Bari, President of Sissala KNUST student branch at designated numbers available at his office.
