Ernest Nuamah earns maiden call up as Chris Hughton names list for Madagascar clash

Ghana Black Stars gaffer Chris Hughton has named his squad to face Les Baréa of Madagascar in the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers on June 18, 2023.

The gaffer who is bent on exploring all available talent to build a formidable national men’s team after calling up Majeed Ashimeru has added a new talent to the list, Ernest Nuamah.

Ernest Nuamah is a prolific and talented left winger who plies his football trade with Denmark’s top-tier football Club, Nordsjælland FC.

His immense contribution this season has handed his team a qualification to play in Europa Conference league qualifiers next season, scoring 15 goals and 4 assists. His record surpasses that of Kamaldeen Sulemana’s 18-goal involvement.

The 20-year-old winger who doubles as a forward for his team is expected to prove to the coach and Ghanaians why he earned the call-up.

Goalkeepers: Lawerence Ati Zigi, Jojo Wollacott, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen.

Defenders: Dennis Odoi, Alidu Seidu, Gideon Mensah, Patrick Kpozo, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Alexander Djiku, Nicholas Opoku.

Midfielders: Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Majeed Ashimeru, Salis Abdul Samed, Edmund Addo.

Wingers: Joseph Paintsil, Osman Bukari, Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Forwards: Andrew Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Inaki Williams, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt.
