Government begins Recruitment of teachers for double track system

Beginning September 2018, Senior High schools in Ghana will run a double track system on a semester module.
As part of the process to put this in motion, the Ghana Education Service informs the general public that it is recruiting graduate teachers for the Senior High Schools as part of its arrangement for the launching of the double track system.
In a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations Unit of the Ghana Education Service, GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, interested applicants should log on to www.gespromotions.gov.gh and complete an online registration at a cost of GH¢5.00.
The Statement added that “Applicants who have completed their National Service will be shortlisted to write a test to determine their suitability for the advertised positions and that the GES reserves the right to post them upon recruitment to places where their services will be needed.”
Deadline for online application is Saturday, September 1, 2018.
The statement said there are limited vacancies for non-teaching staff categories for specific schools adding that the process for recruitment of these categories will be announced in due course.
Government adopted the double track system to help boost enrollment of which 400 Senior High Schools have been selected for that purpose.
