They come with four features including the Ghana Flag, a certificate, a graduation cap.

According to Prof. Opoku-Amankwa, the move to introduce new uniforms is to make the students at JHS level to start seeing themselves as Senior High School students.

Saying: “The idea is to psychologically let them see themselves as secondary students.”

According to him, the rationale for placing a Ghanaian flag on the uniforms is to symbolize nationalism and promote a sense of belonging.

The graduation cap, he said, symbolises intellectualism.
