The Millennium Development Authority, MDA, is to embark on a massive power infrastructure expansion drive and amongst them is providing the 37 military hospital and the newly built Legon Teaching hospital a dedicated power supply.
This was made known by the Chief Executive Officer of Millennium Development Authority, Martin Eson-Benjamin.
The Authority has 18 months to exhaust some 331 million dollars granted government under the second compact of the millennium challenge account.
The amount is currently being invested in the construction of power sub stations and supply points for the ECG.
The Millennium Development Authority is however urging the general public to co-operate as it’s major power infrastructural expansion drive is likely to affect power supply intermittently.
