There is a trending news that Madagascar has found a herbal cure for the coronavirus and the Congo, Kenya and other African countries are going in for the drugs.

The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cameroon, Samuel Kleda has also said same and his countrymen were reported to have rushed to the Archdiocese in Duala for the discovery.

But the World Health Organization, WHO and the super powers seem to be ignoring such discoveries because they are from Africa.

Radio Ghana’s George Ankrah finds out from Professor Fred Binka his thoughts on whether African Scientists are not capable of making a breakthrough.

He said God has endowed every human being with his divine knowledge to work for common good and Africans are no exception.

He said African governments have to appeal to the World Health Organization to go to Madagascar for samples of the drugs to test before attempting to rubbish its efficacy.

Professor Binka said Africa is capable of producing its own drugs but their governments have failed to constantly invest in research, which is the basis of positive outcomes such as drug production.
