A young sensation has hit the ground running in women’s football with her goal-scoring exploits in the Egyptian women’s league. Jennifer Kamkam Yeaboah, a very talented and incredibly gifted Ghanaian footballer, has been putting up some missive numbers in women’s football.

The former Faith Ladies prolific striker has made it a habit of scoring goals as her numbers in the Egyptian top-tier league keep skyrocketing each and every matchday. Kamkam has impressively scored a whopping 57 goals and provided 28 assists in 30 matches played for Zed FC. Her impeccable feat saw her win 20 MVP awards in the league season.

Speaking to renowned sports journalist Gloria Peprah on GTV Sports Plus’s Studio 5, Jennifer Kamkam Yeboah explained the charge behind her incredible goal-scoring abilities and performance in the Egyptian top-tier league as she hinted at numerous factors like focus, determination, training, and God, with some special acknowledgment going to her father and grandmother.

“Staying motivated before games and training, which I don’t joke with at all, always sets the tone for me ahead of games. I also take inspiration from football videos, which I watch to improve my finishing on the field. My father can’t be left out of my source of motivators, as his role of always praying for me before and after matches has played a crucial role in shaping my career as a footballer,” said Jennifer Kamkam.

She added that the striking position was not initially her preferred position, as she began as a midfielder with some motivation driven by Paul Pogba but later got converted to leading the attack, which along the line got her playing the role of a striker on numerous occasions because she was putting the ball into the back of the net with ease.

“I have always taken inspiration from numerous players, but in terms of molding my career historically, Marta Vieira da Silva will stand tall on that rader, as I want to set more records and break any available,” Jennifer Kamkam mentioned.

Commenting on her toughest opponent ever faced on the pitch, Kamkam wasn’t reluctant at all, as she called out Suhaad Awudu as her biggest opponent on the pitch. She mentioned that Suhaad Awudu always gave her a fight on the pitch when they both went against each other, making life difficult for her on the field of play.

With the prolific striker putting up staggering numbers, teams from Europe will be lining up to make attractive offers to buy her signature before her market value increases.
