Hip-hop Song of the year award winner at the just ended VGMA 2019, Kwesi Arthur has imbibed the winning mentality in students charging them to win the ultimate in this year’s Queen’s Commonwealth Essay competition.
Kwesi Arthur, who is a Commonwealth Ambassador, was part of a three-school tour of the Greater Accra Region to motivate the pupils to take part in the enviable essay competition, the oldest in the world since 1883.
School activities virtually came to a halt in all the three schools he visited as pupils mobbed and cheered the multiple award winner, whilst still promising to make a good impression in this year’s Essay Competition.
The only time Ghana has won the ultimate was in 1992, but the pupils promised to make Ghana proud in this year’s competition which is under the theme ”A Connected Commonwealth”.
