Ghana international goalkeeper Lawrence Ati‑Zigi has been named FC St. Gallen’s Player of the Month for April after a string of standout performances that helped the Swiss side secure crucial results in the Swiss Super League. His commanding presence, big saves, and leadership between the posts were central to St. Gallen’s strong run of form over the month.

Ati‑Zigi made a series of crucial saves in April, keeping clean sheets and helping St. Gallen take maximum points in key matches. The club’s supporters voted him Player of the Month following his consistent, high‑level displays throughout the campaign.

Over the weekend, Ati‑Zigi reached 250 appearances for St. Gallen in a 2‑1 away win at Lugano, marking the milestone with a heroic performance. He saved a stoppage‑time penalty at the Stadio di Cornaredo to secure victory, preserving all three points in dramatic fashion.
