The McDan Foundation as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility is distributing five thousand gallons of sanitisers for free to selected hospitals, security agencies, traditional authorities, organizations and communities across the country as a needed intervention.
It has also invited local entrepreneurs to present their sustainable entrepreneurial idea and exclusive local ingredient formulations of hand sanitisers for testing, sampling, approval, and production.
This follows President Akufo-Addo’s request to indigenous entrepreneurs and stakeholders to produce hand sanitisers and potent drugs that can mitigate spread of COVID-19.
Executive Chairman of the Foundation, Dr Daniel McKorley said it is time Ghanaian stakeholders come together to find local solutions to life threatening global challenges like the Coronavirus and build sustainable businesses that will serve as the engine for growth in Africa.
