Nigeria has banned the sale of imported milk to support struggling local farmers.
Reports indicate the move could backfire, with concerns it may lead to dairy shortages and price increases.

Nigeria’s principal imports are manufactured goods, machinery and transport equipment, chemicals, food and live animals.
