Juventus Midfielder Paul Pogba has been hit with a four-year ban from football following his failed drug test. A report in Italy suggests that the French player tested positive for doping violations.

Back in September 2023, Pogba was suspended from all football-related activities to allow a smooth and thorough look into the situation, as an initial sample showed that a DHEA was found in his body, which can raise levels of testosterone, allowing his endurance rate as an athlete to surpass the normal.

After failing to respond to the incident, Paul Pogba claimed his innocence by stating that he accidentally took in the substance, and he had no idea what that could do for an athlete moving forward. But his plea was not taken into consideration by the prosecution.

The World Cup winner could see his career come to an end as he turns 31 next month. Paul Pogba has had an impressive career with both club and country, winning the Europa League, Serie A, Carabao Cup, and notably the 2018 World Cup with France.

Pogba made a return to Juventus in 2022, coming off a tough season with Manchester United. The 30-year-old made 12 appearances for the Old Ladies across two seasons.
