The NPP has ranked itself the best in delivering a vibrant economy through its massive industrialisation policy under the ‘One district one factory’ program.
The Party says it will soon make available all 232 factories and their locations, in order that Ghanaians will be abreast of what government has been doing to strengthen the industrial sector and the economy as a whole.
A leading member of the NPP, Nana Akomea, at a news conference in Accra dubbed industrialisation under Akufo-Addo, said these factories, which are at various stages of completion have created more than 1,300 jobs.
This, according to him, testifies that the economy under the NPP is in good hands. He asked Ghanaians to entrust government with another four years to do more.
Nana Akomea also stated the party’s intention to institute what he termed, strategic Anchor Industries, which will have bauxite processing, automobile production and other industries on large scale to respond to the crucial needs of the people.
Under the One District, One Factory programme, government intends to make Ghana the hub of vehicle production and vehicle parts in West Africa.
