The Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be speaking today, February 7, 2024 at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium of the University of Professional Studies, Accra.
This will be the first time after he is elected the Flagbearer of the governing Party to address the public and the party followers. He is tipped to make known to Ghanaians his vision as a Flagbearer and a potential President, should he come out victorious at the end of the general election.
Even though a number of the opposition bigwigs have touted him as someone who has nothing more to present to Ghanaians, some also share the view that, his speech may be built on the legacies of President Akufo-Addo.
Ahead of the speech, some political analysts have predicted that, the Vice President’s vision will be digital related as he is best known for digitalizing. Even though Dr. Bawumia shared in a promotional video that he will be sharing his “own vision’, majority of the people also expect some level of the Akufo-Addo influence in it.
