Burial and final funeral rites have been held for the late Elder statesman J.H Mensah.
President Akufo Addo in a tribute to a man he described as his mentor said the country has lost a great iconic son who served the nation unreservedly. He said the late elder statesman will be remembered as one of the most edifying leaders of the Minority in the 2nd Parliament of the 4th Republic.
The funeral service took place at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra.
In Attendance were former presidents Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kufuor and John Dramani Mahama. Also in attendance were the Speaker of Parliament, Professor Mike Oquaye, Members of Parliament, government officials and others from all walks of life.
