He explained that the party’s approach of going down to the people will make them understand better the importance for one to observe the health protocol given by the authorities.

“We must learn how to be with our people. I thought I must be with my people and be by their side in times of this difficulties and that is why I did not allow my executives to make the donation on my behalf but go there myself with them. Because some time, there are questions the people will want to ask you and you need to be there to respond to them.

As a leader, as much as possible, you need to be available at all times especially at this critical moment.

You may not have all the resources to give them but the fact that you are there and they see you and feel your presence, you sympathise with them and empathise with them as well.

They will get to know that whether good times or bad you will always be with them,” Mr Ziedeng stated.

“In fact, whenever we get to the communities we explain to them further that even though we may bring one bucket to the community, we don’t expect all members to always come around there to wash their hands.

We all know that our communities are vast and it is not possible for that bucket to serve everybody but the accompany public education will be able to let the people understand and appreciate the fact that the message must be carry to all the households through the rest of the communities so that people will apply the principles of hands washing even in their homes.

It is not about helping the people with veronica buckets but explaining to them how to wash their hands properly at their various homes,” he added.
