A Senior Lecturer at the Department of Political Science, University of Ghana, Professor Atsu Aryee, says Ghanaians are fed up with politicians who are in to amass wealth at the expense of the State.
He said the negative perception about politicians as self-seeking, has to be erased before it becomes a canker.
Professor Aryee was speaking at a National Stakeholders Consultation on Monetization of Politics in Ghana.
It was organized by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, to help find solutions to the spate of money-influence, and corruption to safeguard Ghana’s democracy.
