The Former MP for North Dayi and former Constituency Chairman for Ketu South, George Loh and Ackumey Marshal and two others have successfully filed to challenge the current Regional Chairman Henry Kwadzo Ametefee.
In all, five persons have filed for the chairmanship race for the regional election slated for 12th November 2022 at a place to be determined by the Regional Election committee.
For the secretaryship, two persons: Gladstone Stanley and Albert Laurent Sakabutu are lacing their boots to compete with the current Secretary,
James Gunu, the former DCE for Akatsi North.
In a statement signed by the Volta Regional Director of Elections, Paschal K. Agbagba showed that 54 persons have successfully filed to contest15 positions.
