The Accra High Court has granted a request for an out-of-court settlement in the case in which two persons secured an injunction to stop the NDC presidential primary.

This was after Counsel for the NDC, Samuel Cudjoe, told the court that the party is negotiating with plantiffs, and wanted three days adjournment to finish negotiations and file terms of settlement.

The court presided over by Justice Georgina Mensah Datsa however, directed the parties to file their terms of settlement on Thursday for it to be adopted as a consent judgement.

The High Court in December last year placed an injunction on NDC’s presidential primaries slated for the 26th of this month.

Abdallah Issah and James Kabu Nartey, dragged the party to court to challenge the rules and guidelines set for the presidential primaries.

The court in its order said the respondent, which is the NDC, their committees and all persons acting through them be restrained from proceeding with the NDC 2019 Presidential Election in the manner outlined in the guidelines as amended until the final determination of the suit.
