Parliament resumes sittings today after almost two months of break.

Tuesday, October 6 sitting marks the commencement of the 3rd meeting of the 4th session of the 7th parliament.

The meeting is expected to last for about 4 weeks. A number of bills and papers are expected to be worked on.

GBC’s Bubu Klinogo reports that Speaker of Parliament, Aaron Mike Oquaye, welcomed members back to the House after almost two-month break.

He indicated to them that because this is an election year, the House will be tight and encouraged members not to forget about their roles as MPs even though they would be campaigning.
