The presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Miss Brigitte Dzogbenuku, has charged the people of the Volta Region to vote massively for her to bring change to the region.

“Your destinies are in your hands and you have to determine how good or bad it will be in this year’s elections. I entreat you to choose wisely and vote for your own to ensure we bring development to this area. PPP is your own and I am your own,” she said.

A statement issued by the party’s Communication Director, Mr. Felix Mantey, said Miss Dzogbenuku made the call last Saturday (November, 21) at the celebration of the Lukusi Festival of the Ve Traditional Area at Ve Deme.

It said the PPP’s flag bearer admonished celebrants present at the festival to be mindful of their personal and community development as the nation prepared for the December 7 polls.

Miss Dzogbenuku was accompanied by her running mate, Mr. Kofi Asamoah-Siaw, and other national executive as well as the Volta regional executive.
