President Akufo-Addo received a rousing welcome at Aburi in the Akuapem south constituency on the last day of his two day tour of the Eastern region. Students from across the constituency lined up on the streets to welcome the President and show appreciation for benefiting from the Free SHS policy.

Hundreds of people from all walks of life, clad in NPP paraphernalia occupied every space in town, resulting in a huge traffic. As at 9 a.m., the Arisco Park of the Aburi Girls Senior High school was full of students and people from the various towns within the Aburi enclave.
