The Media Coalition on the Right to Information (RTI) was on Friday in parliament to witness the progress of work on the bill.

The Bill is currently at the consideration stage where the various amendments of the clauses of the bill are being looked at.

In an interview with some members of the interim management of the coalition, they said most of their members were disallowed into the public gallery of Parliament to monitor proceedings of the House.

Leadership of the coalition indicated that an application was submitted to the Public Affairs Department of Parliament to make sure that the necessary protocols were followed by the Coalition.
