The Socialist Movement Ghana has called on Ghanaians to join hands in the rebuilding of the country for the benefit of all.

Speaking at a media engagement in Accra, the General Secretary of the Movement Kwesi Pratt Junior, said there is too much exploitation of Ghanaians by the capitalist system, which the socialist movement hopes to turn around in achieving the dreams of the first President of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah for the country and Africa as a whole.

On the sidelines of the media engagement was the launch of a final report on the recently held National Delegates Congress in Winneba.

GBC’s Regina Agana Akanteba reports that the Convener of the Movement, Kyeretwie Opoku, expressed worry about how Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s dream of making Ghana an industrial hub has been left to die.

He said, “going back to Dr. Nkrumah’s dream is the best way to develop the country.’’

The General Secretary of the Socialist Movement Ghana, Kwesi Pratt Junior, explained that the interest of the movement is, “to improve the living and working conditions of its members’’.

Mr. Pratt reiterated that the Socialist Movement Ghana, “is ready to defeat capitalism in Ghana and beyond.”
