Vulnerable groups to receive preferential treatment at polling centers on December 7

The Electoral Commission says all vulnerable voters will be given preferential treatment at the Polling Stations on December 7.

The Commission said vulnerable people should not be allowed to join long queues at centres on Election Day.

Speaking to GBC in Wa on the sidelines of a sensitization forum for the visually impaired, a Representative of the Wa Municipal office of the Commission, Abdul Moomin Salamatu said Presiding Officers have been tasked to make the necessary arrangements to ensure that such persons vote without hindrance.

Madam Salamatu revealed that Tactile ballot jackets have been produced to help voters with visual impairments to vote without support.
