Residents of Ablekuma Central in the Greater Region of Ghana are unhappy and have poured out their grievances and fear about the poor state of their roads, a situation that has been a major concern to the people.

According to the residents of Ablekuma, the roads’ poor state has caused them many problems. A clear example is when it rains, they find it difficult to reach their homes as drivers and motorists refuse to take them to their destinations, due to the cumbersome nature of navigation.

Another issue is economic as a result of the nature of the road that makes it difficult for drivers to transport people or goods, is the fear of damaging their cars.

The inhabitants recalled going on a demonstration on the state of their roads but “till date, the poor state of the roads is still the same”, a resident lamented.

“We the people of Ablekuman are unhappy and hope the roads will be worked on as it is a threat to our existence”, a student decried.
