New members of the National Media Commission (NMC), have been sworn into office by a Supreme Court Judge, Justice Julius Ansah.
The 18 member board, chaired by Yaw Boadu Ayeboafoh has members from both State and non-State institutions.
Justice Ansah asked the NMC to ensure that the menace of fake news in the world does not become a norm in the media.
He urged the Commission to uphold regulations that will promote freedom without compromising standard, decency and security of the State.
