Teams begin to arrive in Accra for African Games 2023

With a few days until the biggest sports showpiece on the African continent, athletes and fans have started gearing up for the historic African Games hosted in Ghana from March 8th to March 23rd, 2024. Over 54 countries will be participating in this prestigious event. 

Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia arrived in Ghana on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in preparation for the 13th African Games, which will be held in Accra.

The teams for the respective countries were mostly dominated by badminton players, as the badminton events will start on Sunday, March 3, 2024, before the opening ceremony on March 8, 2024.

The arrival of countries has seen the Northern African countries make the early entry in order to gather the right momentum towards the ultimate African games, with some superb records on the side of the North African countries when it comes to the African Games.

A handful of countries will be expected to arrive for the showpiece on Thursday as the days continue to gear closer to the big event in Accra, Ghana.
