Andre Ayew, in his first game for his club Le Havre, after a disappointing AFCON campaign with the Black Stars in Côte d’Ivoire, delivered a performance to remember with a brace to secure a 3-3 draw against Lorient.

Ayew started the game from the bench as he was introduced into the game in the 70th minute when his side were trailing by 2-1 in the hands of Lorient, who sits at the bottom of the French League 1 table.

The Le Havre midfielder introduced himself to the party when he got on the scoresheet with a superb header in the 85th minute, capitalising on an excellent cross from Nabil Alioui to put his side level at 2-2.

Andre Ayew’s effort wasn’t enough to push his team into the lead after the equaliser, as Lorient scored another goal to put the score at 3-2 heading into the final minutes of the game.

Few minutes after Lorient took the lead, Andre Ayew decided to cause an upset to the home crowd when he once again scored to bring the scores to level terms. His goal in the 90th minute saw Le Havre go home with a point.
