Black Queens star Evelyn Badu signs for FC Fleury 91 Feminines

Black Queens forward Evelyn Badu has signed for French side FC Fleury 91 Feminines after a fruitful two seasons in Norway. The 21-year-old has been instrumental for the Black Queens as they continue to compete to grow female football in Ghana.

Evelyn Badu has been one of the breakthrough stars in female football in Ghana in the last few years, as her incredible pace and ability on the ball keep her among the best in women’s football moving forward.

She scored two goals in 25 appearances for Avaldsnes, but unfortunately, the club was relegated from the Toppserien last season.

Evelyn announced herself to the world as she played a vital role in Hasaacas Ladies triumph in the CAF women’s Champions League in 2021, where she dominated, leading her side to the last four of the competition. 

Her exploits and performance won her the 2022 CAF Women Youth Player of the Year and the CAF Women Interclub Player of the Year.
