FIFA Referees Instructor, Richard Thomas Attiful has called for the organization of a seminar for all teams in Ghana to educate them on the rules of the game of football.
He made this statement at the back of Ghana’s controversial loss to Portugal on Thursday, November 24, 2022, on the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation 24-hour Sports Channel, GTV Sports+ Match Day show via phone.
According to him, his investigations have proven that the players of the teams do not understand the rules governing the games.
“You will be surprised at a point, I asked a team how many laws of the game we have and you can see the whole room was quiet” he added.
The FIFA Referees Instructor also added that the seminar should include the Sports Administrators, Coaches and other stakeholders.
