As the hour draws nigh to end the debate on who the best player is for 2021-2022, Ghana’s Premier and only 24 hour Sports Channel, GTV Sports+, has acquired the right to telecast the 2022 Ballon d’Or.

The 66th edition of the annual ceremony will be presented by France Football as they recognise and award the footballers who set themselves apart from others with their goal scoring abilities, goal saving prowess and general qualities in the world.

For the first time since 2005, multi Ballon d’Or champion Lionel Messi did not make it into the final short list for the award meanwhile five times winner Cristiano Ronaldo made it on the list and could close the gap between him and Messi.
