“This is an excruciatingly difficult decision to make and one that I did not take lightly. I want to go on record as saying how grateful I am to you (Togbe) personally for the opportunity to lead the club,” Mr. Noonan said.

A Togbe Afede XIV in his response to Noonan exit stated that, the former Hearts CEO, within his short stay at Hearts made a strong impact and introduced lots of initiatives upon which the club can build.

He expressed the hope that the parties would find other ways in which they can continue to work together and also support the incoming CEO.

Mr. Moore, a former CEO of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, is expected to start work as the new CEO on Monday, March 18th, 2019, as the Board of the Club rallied support for him.
