Roy Hodgson has revealed that Black Stars and Crystal Palace player Jordan Ayew has tested positive for Coronavirus.

The coach made this know Sunday to justify why the player couldn’t make it into the team of the day to face Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club.

Jordan joins national team mates Bernard Mensah, Gideon Mensah to have tested positive for the virus.

Ayew later confirmed the pronouncement by his boss via a post on twitter saying ‘Sadly, I have tested positive for Covid-19 & have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance. Thankfully, I am feeling fine & do not have any symptoms.

I will be cheering the boys on from home & look forward to being back on the pitch soon

Stay safe’.
