Kumasi Asante Kotoko suffered a 1-0 defeat to Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The porcupine warriors went into the game hoping to grab all three points and go up on the table after two consecutive winless games.

After a dominating display by the porcupine warriors in the first 20 minutes and an offside goal by Steven Mukwala, later Abdul Aziz gave Dreams FC the lead with an astonishing free kick to the top corner, which goalkeeper Danlad had nothing to do about it.

The result will no doubt boost Dreams FC’s confidence as they climb the league table while the Porcupine Warriors drop three important points, which could make them lose their confidence.

This back-to-back loss from Asante Kotoko makes them sit on the 13th spot on the table. Dreams FC climbs to the 8th position on the league table.
