Asante Kotoko fans emitted fumes as they stormed the team’s training ground in Adako Jachie on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, preventing the team from undertaking their usual training session.

The aim was to stop head coach Dr. Prosper Ogum from taking charge of the team.

Proper Ogum’s Kotoko has been putting up some abysmal performances in the Ghana Premier League so far, leaving fans of the Porcupine Warriors worried about the ambitions of the club moving forward.

The club has been struggling to record a win in their last nine matches played in the Ghana Premier League, losing seven games, which has seen them dropped from initial title challengers to mid-table strugglers. Kotoko, in this poor run, has only managed to accumulate seven points, dropping them to 11th place in the league.

Kotoko’s position in the league looks very critical, as they are only three points away from the relegation zone. This poor run of form is the Porcupine Warriors worst-ever run in the Ghana Premier League, as fans demand the sack of head coach Dr. Prosper Ogum with immediate effect.

The incident left the players and staff with no option but to halt the training section in order to calm the situation.
