Eight Clubs who took part in the 2021/2022 Volta Regional Division Two League season have been relegated to Division Three.

The relegated clubs would play at the district level under the District FA’s of the Regional Football Association.

The Clubs are Aflao Iron Breakers FC from Southern Sector A Zone A, Area 51 FC from Southern Sector A, Zone B, Panthers FC from Southern Sector B Zone A, and Samnero FC from Southern Sector B, Zone B.

The rest are Abutia Prestige FC from Central Sector A, NTL SC from Central Sector A, MK Warriors FC from Northern Sector A, and Nkonya All-Stars from Northern Sector B.

This is the first time the Regional FA is relegating Clubs to the lower division.

Last year at the Ordinary Session of Congress, it was decided that clubs who finished bottom at their respective zones would be relegated to the lower division.

However, Eight Clubs have gained promotion from various districts to play in the upcoming Division Two League.

The promoted Clubs are Yingor FC, Dekpor Mighty Rovers, and Diamond FC.

The rest include Breakers FC, Eleven Brothers, Anointed FC, Bakpa FC, Sporting Rovers FC, and Palace FC.

Congress has unanimously switched back to playing the 2022/2023 league season at Game Centre with Sub-Middle League also returns.
