Deontay Wilder has urged Dillian Whyte to leave Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing if he wants to fight for his WBC world heavyweight title.
Whyte is a free agent and currently working with Matchroom on a fight-by-fight deal, but at present he is in America exploring his other promotional options.
The Jamaican-born heavyweight is rumoured to be in discussions with American promoter Al Haymon and Premier Boxing Champions [PBC] about signing with them.
Wilder also fights under the PBC banner, and has urged Whyte to join him if he wants to step inside the ring with the reigning WBC champion.
‘I think that will be the best decision [signing for PBC] that he will ever make in his career,’ Wilder told Barbershop Conversations.
‘There’s nothing like America, nothing like being here in America, and getting infront of American fans.
‘I think that will be a great move for him and move him more closer to getting the fight with me than anything. ‘We will see what happens.
’ Whyte remains the front-runner to fight Anthony Joshua on April 13 at Wembley, however, this fight is yet to be confirmed.
