John Paintsil named Wa All Stars coach

Former Kaizer Chiefs assistant trainer, John Paintsil has been appointed coach of premier league side Wa All Stars for the 2019/2020 league season.

The former Ghana International since hanging his boots has been involved in football coaching and had a stint with South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.

Painstil has been handling the team since the take over from former GFA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi but his role has now been confirmed.

The former Fulham defender in the past led a consortium to try and acquire the club but has now been installed as the gaffer.

Meanwhile Wa All Stars will on Sunday (November 17) play against Accra Hearts of Oak in a pre-season friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
