The year 2023 started on a controversial note for Ghanaians with a number of prophetic declarations by some famous men of God.
Some high ranking officials including the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare had their fair share of the prophecies. Renowned host of the GTV Breakfast Show, Kafui Dey was not spared an ordeal.
According to Mr. Dey, a colleague at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) gave him a prophetic declaration.
“I saw that you are going to get a global award and I said okay. Then he said he saw a second revelation that I was going to get an attack on my health”, he recounted.
Speaking on the Headlines Segment of the GTV Breakfast Show, the versatile presenter disclosed that even though he was not angered by his colleague’s action, he did not spare him some chastisement.
” I said to him excuse me. First of all, I don’t work for awards so your award thing does not tickle my ear one bit… about my health, even Pope Benedict had health issues and died and if you are sick, it is either you get well or you die so what you are telling me is nothing new”, he chastised his co-worker.
The prophecy brouhaha was sparked following an earlier press release from the Ghana Police Service on December 27, 2022, which cautioned Pastors against making prophecies that  could cause fear and panic.
The press release did not however deter some pastors from prophesying. Notable among them is a prophecy from the Founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie.
“The Lord took my spirit to the Republic of Yempe Nokware and I saw that there was a change of IGP. I saw in the realm of the spirit. I saw that the IGP, his boot was taken off”, he figuratively disclosed during the December 31st Watchnight Service.
