The Burkina Faso Embassy in Ghana has called on the Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA) to extend an invitation to participate in the 2022 Trade and Economic Promotion Days to be held at the International Conference Center in Accra.

A delegation from the Burkina Faso Embassy in Ghana led by the Registrar General of Burkina Faso, Mr. Bilgo Hamidois paid a courtesy call on the GSA at the Shippers’ House in Accra on Friday 15th July 2022 to discuss areas of interest and seek the collaboration of the Authority.

Mr. Hamidois said the Preparatory Mission from the Burkina Faso Embassy in Ghana which is in charge of the organizing the event had identified the GSA as an “essential link in the promotion and development of trade between Burkina Faso and Ghana” hence the need for the collaboration.

The Director of Finance and Administration, Mr. Peter Mensah-Abrampah commended the Burkina Faso Embassy in Ghana for the initiative and expressed the GSA’s readiness to collaborate with the Preparatory Mission in charge of planning the event, and confirmed the Authority’s participation.

More than hundred (100) institutions from Burkina Faso and Ghana are expected to participate in the weeklong exhibition which will take place between 27th September and 2nd October.

Items to be on display will be range from arts and craft, Agricultural produce including processed and unprocessed foods among others.
