One person has been killed and ten injured after a violent incident at a school in eastern Finland, police say.
The school, in a shopping centre, is situated in Kuopio, 335 kilometres north-east of the capital, Helsinki.
Police said officers used firearms and took one person into custody.
Two of those injured are in serious condition.
Police gave no further details on what had happened or what provoked the violence.
